A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between UMT and Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) to promote knowledge about the capital market. The MoU aims to initiate efforts to create awareness and promote knowledge about the capital market amongst the participants through the PSX – National Investor Education Program to educate them about financial planning and stock market operations. UMT and PSX will support each other and explore possibilities in relation to the development of the capital market through seminars on investments and other related topics. They have also agreed to cooperate in bringing financial literacy amongst the UMT students. Innovation Champions Boot Camp and Club (ICBCC) – a subsidiary project of Office of Career Services (OCS), will be implementing this program among UMT participants to give them orientation about market valuation of industry. It will also make them aware of the physical, financial, technical and fundamental factors affecting it. Rector UMT Professor Dr. Muhammad Aslam (SI) and regional Head Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Mr. Sarmad Hussain signed the MoU and exchanged the files. Principal Secretary to Rector UMT Mr. Asif Saeed haider and head OCS UMT Khalid Naqi also participated in the ceremony.
