The Supreme Court on Thursday constituted a two-member committee comprising member Customs and an additional director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to probe and take action against the illegal sale of Indian Direct to Home (DTH) technology boxes in Pakistan in the grey trafficking case.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar heard the case in Islamabad.
The apex court directed the committee to submit its reply within ten days.
It asked the member Customs to also identify the source of smuggling of the DTH in Pakistani market.
In his remarks during the proceedings, Justice Nisar regretted that Pakistan was losing its money through the smuggling of DTH boxes.
