At least six people including a woman and children were injured in a landmine explosion in Kohlu district on Saturday.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital in Kohlu. Following the blast, Balochistan Levies launched a search operation and cordoned off the area. The explosion coincides with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa’s visit to the provincial capital on Saturday. During his daylong visit, the prime minister was given a detailed briefing on security situation in the province, challenges and the response of the law enforcement agencies.
