Three security personnel were martyred and four others injured in a landmine explosion here on Sunday, Levies sources said.
According to details, the landmine planted by roadside in Margit area of Quetta exploded when a vehicle of security forces was passing by. The blast resulted in death of three security personnel while leaving four others seriously injured.
According to Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) spokesperson Khan Wasey, the IED targeted the security forces vehicle transporting rations to the security personnel.\ The injured FC personnel were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital Quetta for treatment. The security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and launched search operation.
