Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said contrary to the policies of previous governments, the present government would ensure the fulfilment of all the pledges made with the business community.
He was talking to a Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) delegation. Minister for Finance Asad Umar and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood were also present in the meeting.
The prime minister said the government was determined to provide all possible facilitation to the business community and industrialists on foremost priority so that the economy’s wheel could move ahead, and the country could achieve economic development.
He said the government would ensure that every decision regarding the economy was taken in consultation with the business community.
The prime minister said the country would move forward in the economic field through strong partnership between the government and the business community.
The delegation felicitated Prime Minister Imran Khan on his election as well as on assuming the office. The delegation apprised the prime minister about the problems faced by the business community as well as the industrial sector. They also welcomed the government’s decision to restore the Engineering Development Board.
